Why Microsoft's Internet Explorer sucks!

And why it makes my (and many other) pages look like crap...

The problem isn't that IE is inherently bad, it's that Microsoft doesn't play fair, nor follow the World's standards for the Internet. They change stuff around and in doing so, websites don't work right when viewed in IE. What does that mean? Well for one thing, if you make a website to work with any other browser, it looks like crap in IE ;-( And no, I am NOT going to make 2 or 3 different pages to cover each browser... And really, I don't have to -- IE is the only one who doesn't play "fair" so I'm not going to try. Yes, I'll make sure it works with IE, but I'm not designing for it. Okay, more than that... it doesn't even work right in IE, so it ends up infuriating one. I know, I know... you don't care -- you just want to look at websites. Fine, it's also ridden with security problems.

Now, you're saying, "But Marsh, what can I do??" Simple, use a better browser! For years, I loved Netscape and used up to v.9 of Navigator myself, but a number of years back, the fools that run Netscape (AOL, of course) decided to stop developing and supporting Netscape >:-0 If they won't support it, soon the hackers will start being able to nail it. Time to move. Anyway, if you want, you can click here to download their older browsers (I don't recommend 6 at all -- it's sucky like 8 was). I'm sure some wanker at Netscape will disagree, but I didn't like it -- why can't they ever just fix things and make it better?
